Dr. Wilson was born and raised in Myrtle Beach, SC. After graduating from Myrtle Beach High School, he attended the University of South Carolina receiving his BS in Biology in 1990. After considering an attempt at film school and working on a Masters in religious studies, he was led to dental school by the advice of a friend. He enrolled at the Medical University of SC where he graduated with his degree in 1997. After working in a corporate practice for several years, he decided to purchase his own practice and moved to Greenville to start Greenville Smiles.
Dr. Wilson is a member of American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Academy of Laser Dentistry, Greenville County Dental Society, Greenville Implant Study Club and Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Wilson has one daughter, whose greatest passion is riding horses. On a typical fall weekend, if you cannot get his attention, it is either because he is watching his Gamecocks play football or his daughter ride and jump her horse.
